Ms Clinton’s book It Takes A Village, which was released in 1996. It has since gone viral.
The passage was first tweeted by Jeanette Jing, an activist who supported Clinton’s Democratic opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders:
When we moved in, I was told that using prison labor (sic) at the governor’s mansion was a longstanding tradition, which kept down costs,”
Ms Clinton revealed in the book.
Hillary has just implicitly admitted that she never directly asked her slaves about their biographies. She just sat silently, vapidly wondering about them as she watched their job performances from afar, across a mansion room.
Her admission resurfaced and went viral Wednesday on Twitter and Facebook, with hundreds of people expressing indignation that she bowed to such an archaic tradition.
I discovered, as I had been told I would, that we had far fewer disciplinary problems with inmates who were in for murder than those who had committed property crimes. In fact, over the years we lived there we became friendly with a few of them, African-American men in their thirties who had already served twelve to eighteen years of their sentences.
Putting this into the context of her presidential campaign in which she both accused Donald Trump of racism and ran on a platform of justice reform, it makes her look like a world-class bullshitter and hypocrite.
I’m sure by now she has evolved on the issue and no longer thinks having unpaid black servants is a good idea. Actually, I bet she wishes it were still possible to staff her three mansions with slave labor, but she may have moved onto illegal aliens to wait on her.
“When we moved in, I was told that using prison labor at the governor’s mansion was a longstanding tradition, which kept down costs,” Clinton writes. She adds that most of the workers were convicted murderers and she became friendly with “a few of them, African-American men in their thirties who had already served 12 to 18 years of their sentences
Hillary’s past has come back to haunt her again, this time with the revelation that should used black prison labor.
